ZoomU Graduation 2018!

Last night we recognized the newest group of ZoomU Alum at a special ceremony held at StudioWorks. These Team Members have excelled past all the job coaching and support that we can offer them, and are now off to independent, competitive employment. We are so proud of the growth and work ethic of each and every one of them.

Congratulations to you all!

'Beautiful, Spontaneous, Creative' art exhibition featuring StudioWorks artist

Headshots Donna2.jpg

We are so excited for StudioWorks artist Donna!

Donna will be displaying work at the Metro Arts Center from Jan 16th to March 14th as a part of the 'Beautiful, Spontaneous, Creative' exhibtion. The opening reception is Jan 16, 12-2pm for David Gladstone and 5-7pm for Donna.

For those not familiar with Donna's work, her art is a mixture of mediums such as acrylics, watercolors, and oil pastels. Donna's work also consists of found objects such as re-purposed books which she fills with vibrant illustrations. Donna has been working so hard to get more of her art out into the community and we can't be more excited for her.

To catch a glimpse for yourself, definitely make a point to check out the show! We're sure she'd love to see some familiar faces.

Making Wishes Come True!

There is still time to help us make wishes come true. We still have a way to go toward our goal.

We hope you will join us in our mission to empower, educate, and employ people of all abilities by contributing to our annual appeal. With your support, you can help us ensure that Zoom Group can create a more inclusive community that welcomes all of our Team Members.

Happy Holidays everyone!

As you may know, each year StudioWorks participates in Bardstown Rd Aglow. And this year, they have something extra special planned for the window display contest with a little help from LifeWorks in the Highlands.

Bardstown Rd Aglow is a great opportunity to come see the gallery & studio, meet some of the artists, and socialize with others who share the goal of a more inclusive community for our Team Members. We will be offering light refreshments, a photo op with Santa, and wonderful holiday offerings for purchase. All sales proceeds will go to Zoom Group programming.

Can't make it out? No problem. You can also find our great holiday offerings on our online store as well as our Etsy storefront.

Keep an eye out for updates!

The Zoom shopping season has begun!

As the weather gets colder, we all know what that means—the Holidays are approaching! And the first thing that comes to most of our minds is gifts...What to get, who wants what, and where to find it?

Are you wondering what to get the Zoom Group advocate in your life? If so, check out our online store at the shop section of zoomgroup.org. There you can find a variety of offerings, many of which are unique pieces made by our artists from StudioWorks.

We also now have an Etsy store front! Give it a look for more of your Zoom Group related gift needs! You can find it here.

Give the gift of inclusion this year and make someone's wishes come true.

Zoomtoberfest 2017

Zoomtoberfest 2017 was such a great time! It was nice to see Team Members, staff, and friends come together to celebrate fall. Everyone coming together really illustrated what a more inclusive community would look like, and we're as motivated as ever toward our goal.

A big thanks as always to our sponsors at Kroger for helping make this event possible and providing food. Thanks to all our volunteers (especially to those who stepped up to get a pie in the face!), staff, and Team Members who shared their talent during talent show. And of course thanks to everyone else who came out and made the event a blast!

Till next year.

Zoomtoberfest 2017 is this weekend!

Fall is here!

The leaves are falling, the weather is getting chillier, and Zoom Group's annual Fall picnic is right around the corner.

Zoomtoberfest is fast approaching! It will be held at St John Paul II church (3042 Hikes Ln) this Saturday, October 21st. The picnic will have activities such as a costume contest, various games, 'Pie In The Face' booth, and the always popular talent show. Lunch and refreshments will be served. All and all, a good time!

This event is open to Team Members, Zoom staff, and friends of Zoom Group. We hope to see you there, and don't forget your dollars to toss a pie into the faces of your favorite Zoom staff.

A special thanks to Jenny ZellerPaul Paletti GalleryMurphy's Camera, and the Louisville Photo Biennial for helping to make this a reality.

Join us Friday, October 13th for the opening reception. The reception is from 6pm to 9pm at StudioWorks's gallery (1503 Bardstown Rd.)
